The Exmoor Pony is a mountain and moorland pony that lives in the British Isles. Some of these horses still roam Exmoor, a large area of moorland in southwestern England. They were usually used for labor by farmers. The Exmoor Ponies are always brown with black points, and they have a thick coat for cool climates. They also have lighter colored rings around their eyes and muzzles.
